Internal Communications and Engagement Advisor

You will play a key role in keeping Fleet Mobility teams informed, connected, and engaged. As the Internal Communications & Engagement Lead, you will shape how messages land across the organization—helping people understand priorities, feel connected to the strategy, and stay engaged during change.
This role supports bp’s broader transformation by translating business objectives into clear, relevant, and meaningful internal communications that drive understanding and action.
What you will deliver
You will be successful in this role if you:
- Create and own a clear internal communications strategy and editorial calendar aligned with business priorities
- Deliver impactful communication campaigns that build awareness, understanding, and engagement
- Translate complex business initiatives into simple, compelling messages for internal audiences
- Identify and elevate strong storytelling that reinforces culture, values, and transformation
- Ensure consistent, high-quality messaging across all internal communication channels
- Support the planning and delivery of internal engagement moments such as town halls, leadership meetings, and team events
- Partner closely with leaders and internal stakeholders to ensure communications are timely, relevant, and effective
- Use engagement data and feedback to continuously improve communication effectiveness
What you will need to be successful (experience and qualifications)
- 5–8+ years of experience in internal communications, employee engagement, or a related field
- Strong writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics
- Experience managing communication calendars and multi-channel campaigns
- Demonstrated ability to influence and advise stakeholders at different levels
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Experience working in fast-paced, matrixed environments

You will work closely with executive leaders, department heads, and field teams to bring the Fleet Mobility story to life. You’ll be part of a small, collaborative communications team with strong exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to make a visible impact.
