Job Description:

The Vice President, Truck Service Support, Enablement & Field Support is accountable for enabling consistent, high-quality execution of Truck Service strategies across company and franchise locations.

This role leads the integration of program strategy, vendor/category management, franchise performance, and field support capabilities, ensuring alignment between enterprise priorities and field-level execution.

The VP drives transformation in how Truck Service delivers results—building scalable programs, strengthening field capability, and ensuring operational consistency across the network.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Enablement Strategy

  • Define and lead the Truck Service enablement strategy, ensuring alignment between enterprise priorities and field execution

  • Integrate efforts across programs, vendor strategy, franchise support, and field execution teams

  • Translate strategy into scalable frameworks, tools, and standards that drive consistent performance

  • Establish governance to ensure alignment, accountability, and measurable outcomes

Program & Category Integration

  • Provide strategic leadership to:

    • Director, Tire Programs

    • Director, Parts, Oil & Labor Programs

  • Ensure programs and category strategies deliver margin performance, cost optimization, and operational feasibility

  • Establish enterprise alignment on pricing frameworks, program standards, and vendor strategies

  • Drive simplification and standardization across program offerings

Franchise Performance Enablement

  • Lead and guide the Truck Service Franchise Director, ensuring alignment to enterprise strategy and priorities

  • Establish a consistent model for franchise engagement, performance management, and capability development

  • Ensure franchise partners are equipped with tools, insights, and programs to deliver brand and financial expectations

  • Drive alignment in operational standards, customer experience, and program adoption

Field Support & Execution Capability

  • Oversee the Truck Service Field Support organization, including Specialist Team Leads and Specialists

  • Ensure field teams optimally translate strategy into clear execution plans and measurable outcomes

  • Build capability in operational excellence, problem-solving, and performance management

  • Establish consistent performance management, coaching, and accountability frameworks across the field

Operational Performance & Continuous Improvement

  • Own enterprise visibility into program adoption, operational consistency, and performance drivers

  • Drive continuous improvement through standardization, root cause analysis, and scalable solutions

  • Ensure alignment between program intent and field execution outcomes

  • Partner with Operations leadership to identify and close performance gaps

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner with Operations, Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, and People & Culture

  • Align vendor strategies, financial performance, and operational capabilities

  • Lead enterprise change initiatives, ensuring adoption and sustained impact

  • Influence senior stakeholders and align across competing priorities

Leadership & Organizational Capability

  • Lead and develop a multi-layered leadership organization across:

    • Program Directors

    • Franchise leadership

    • Field Support teams

  • Build capability in program strategy, vendor management, and field execution

  • Establish a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and performance discipline

  • Ensure strong succession planning and leadership pipeline

Scope & Impact

  • Enterprise accountability for Truck Service enablement, program integration, and field execution capability

  • Significant influence on margin performance, cost structure, service consistency, and program adoption

  • Acts as the critical link between enterprise strategy and field results

What We’d Like to See

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, or related field preferred; advanced degree a plus

  • Significant leadership experience in truck service, fleet maintenance, automotive, or multi-site service environments

  • Proven success leading enterprise functions, large cross-functional organizations, or field enablement models

  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, with experience influencing margin performance and cost optimization

  • Demonstrated ability to lead through multiple layers of leadership and influence without direct control of operations

  • Experience integrating program strategy, vendor management, and field execution

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a data-driven approach

  • Excellent communication and executive presence, with ability to influence senior stakeholders

  • Ability to travel as required to support business priorities
