1Chevron Shale & Tight Business Unit is accepting online applications for the position of Measurement Technician A/B located at Tioga, ND, through May 5th 2026, at 11:59 p.m. (CST).
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Execute all work in compliance with Chevron safety policies, Life‑Saving Rules, pre‑job planning requirements, energy isolation standards, and permit‑to‑work processes
Perform meter calibration, inspection, proving, and sampling for oil, gas, water, and NGL measurement systems
Calibrate gas measurement equipment in accordance with regulatory requirements and applicable API standards
Perform proving of oil allocation meters in compliance with regulatory and API requirements
Collect gas samples for compositional analysis using gas chromatograph equipment
Witness and support LACT meter proving activities, including valve operation and hose and piping connections
Inspect meter tubes, orifice plates, and associated measurement components
Conduct proving and calibration of NGL meters
Maintain accurate, auditable documentation to support regulatory, accounting, and internal reporting needs

Work Environment
Field‑based role supporting operations in the Keene/Tioga area
Standard Monday–Friday schedule (9/80), with flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as business needs require
Physically capable of climbing stairs, operating valves, and performing work under supplied‑air conditions
Able to regularly lift 50+ pounds and handle oil proving hoses and equipment
Work is often performed independently with minimal direct supervision
Required Qualifications
Knowledge of, or ability to learn: Oil and gas safety practices and requirements Measurement calibration and proving techniques and regulations Effective troubleshooting and problem‑solving methods
Proficiency with business systems and tools (SAP, Microsoft Office Suite)
Ability to read and interpret operating procedures, drawings, and P&IDs
Industrial or oilfield experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license required
Preferred Qualifications
Strong verbal and written communication skills
2+ years of oil and gas measurement experience preferred
Effective time management and scheduling capability
Associate or technical degree
SAP training or experience preferred
Relocation options
Relocation may be considered.
International Options:
International assignments won't be considered.
