We are looking for a Sr Advisor Energy Solutions to join our Team of engineers dedicated to working hand-in-hand with large manufacturing customers on tackling complex challenges to uncover ways to help them use natural gas more efficiently within their facilities.

In this role you will consult with a diverse portfolio of manufacturers, tackling unique challenges and gaining exposure across a multitude of industries. Your role involves learning about customer’s processes and facilities, educating them on their energy use, and leveraging technical expertise to aid customers to make informed decisions.

What You Will Do:

  • Forge long-term customer relationships: build and nurture professional relationships founded on unwavering trust and mutual respect, being a first-choice energy efficiency partner for your customers.

  • Provide solutions to complex problems: expertly analyze complex operations across various industries and synthesize available information to create solutions equally appealing to business and technical people.

  • Quantify impact and secure buy-in: Build technical savings calculations, sometimes from scratch, to support project justification and persuade key stakeholders on execution of work.

  • Balance multiple priorities: Able to effectively manage time and priorities, consistently delivering in firm annual savings targets.

  • Drive results autonomously while thriving in a collaborative environment: Independently manage your own customer portfolio, but integrate into, and support broader Team to achieve personal and collective objectives.

  • Continuous growth and curious mindset: Proactively identify new savings opportunities to drive both short and long-term work and build a sales funnel for sustained growth.

Who You Are:

You have the following qualifications:

  • Engineering Degree required, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering preferred.

  • Six or more years of directly related experience in process engineering, project engineering, continuous improvement, or technical consulting in industrial environments.

  • P.Eng designation registered with the PEO (Professional Engineers of Ontario) or similar professional organization is required.

  • Energy Management certification (such as Certified Energy Manager) is preferred but not required.

  • Leading and influencing without explicit authority.

  • Demonstrates strong time‑management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and manage competing demands in a fast‑paced environment.

  • Ability to work well both independently, and with others and build strong team dynamics; open-mindedness; strong interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an aptitude for problem solving.

Working Conditions:

  • This role is a mix of office based (50%) and field based (50%) and requires travelling mainly within Ontario including overnight. Valid driver’s license with a responsible driving record is needed.

Salary Ranges from $100,000 – $130,000 CAD for Ontario Canada locations based upon candidate’s experience, skills, and internal equity. Applicable compensation policies and guidelines apply to internal candidates.
