About this opportunity:

Cenovus is seeking a Senior Learning Advisor for our Dublin office. This role partners with business leaders and subject matter experts (SMEs) across the U.S. Downstream to design, develop, and deliver high-impact learning solutions. This role is responsible for translating operational needs into effective learning strategies, with a strong focus on eLearning development, LMS optimization, and standardization of learning assets. The ideal candidate combines instructional design expertise with strong consulting, communication, and influencing skills to drive adoption and improve workforce capability.

What you’ll do:

  • Design and develop high‑quality learning solutions aligned to business needs

  • Evaluate learning requests and recommend appropriate modalities; consult with SMEs and business leaders to define learning needs and performance gaps

  • Guide stakeholders toward the most effective learning solution and support change initiatives through effective learning and communication strategies

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for the Learning Management System and support course deployment, troubleshooting, and reporting

  • Identify opportunities to improve LMS utilization and streamline processes

  • Drive standardization of learning assets, templates, and development practices across the U.S. Downstream and continuously evaluate and improve learning effectiveness through feedback and data

Who you are:

  • Legally authorized to work in the US.

  • 8+ years of work history, including experience in instructional design, eLearning development or corporate training within manufacturing or similar industry

  • Bachelor's degree in Learning & Development, Instructional Design, Education, or related field

  • Familiarity with OSHA regulatory and safety training requirements

  • Advanced proficiency in Articulate Storyline and Rise 360, and proven ability in Learning Management Systems

  • Strong project management skills with the demonstrated ability to lead projects, collaborate with internal teams, and manage external vendors, and engage stakeholders at all organizational levels
