1This role spans core Business Performance & Finance (BPF) processes—including reporting, forecasting, planning, benchmarking, and competitive performance.
Prepares the aggregation of financial and performance insights across the value chain of Pipelines, Fuels Terminals, and Lubricant Blending Plants businesses to support the Infrastructure Leadership Team.
Enhances data visibility, quality, and insight generation across the value chain, while also aligning with Specialty Sales to ensure a consistent, enterprise-wide business view.
A strong individual contributor, the position will coach and influence others, supporting broader team capability and organizational development in partnership with the BPF Manager.
Leads medium-complexity projects and supports Operations with limited supervision.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to: 

1) Annual Business Plan Development & X+Y Consolidation

  • Partner with respective Specialty Operations BPF teams, Commercial, Operations, Projects & Portfolios, Enterprise Business Planning, Enterprise Performance Delivery, and more to develop the annual five-year business plan and develop summary presentations for leadership reviews.

  • Coordinate plan submission, quality checks, and follow-ups to ensure plans meet expectations for timeliness, completeness, and internal consistency.

  • Regularly review the indirect billing process to ensure equity and consistency in approach, helping to champion dialogues when there are gaps or improvement opportunities

2) Executive Communications & Materials

  • Lead the development and delivery of monthly and ad-hoc executive‑level presentation materials and communication packages for senior leadership.

  • Translate complex topics, assumptions, and trade‑offs into clear, concise narratives suitable for executive audiences.

3) Competitive Performance & Benchmarking

  • Support Enterprise Performance Delivery with competitive goal setting for Infrastructure, as well as being fluent in the initiatives that will drive stronger performance.

  • Support benchmarking of the business plan and actual performance versus external competitors, identifying performance gaps, trends, and improvement opportunities. Integrate competitive insights to inform leadership discussions and strategic decisions.

4) Cross‑Functional & Global Collaboration

  • Build strong working relationships and act as a connector across businesses, collaborating Business Performance & Finance teams, and Corporate groups, to drive alignment, partner better and deliver results.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of financial fundamentals (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow, KPIs).

  • Demonstrated experience developing executive‑level presentations and communications, and supporting leadership teams.

  • Proven ability to operate as a individual contributor as well as a coach, providing guidance and influencing outcomes without direct authority.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience supporting Downstream, Midstream, and/or Chemicals businesses.

  • Familiarity with competitive performance analysis and external benchmarking.

  • Experience with planning and data analytics tools.  Experience leveraging digital solutions to streamline analysis.
