Senior Engineer Facilities Integrity Planning

In this role, you will be responsible for assessing and effectively managing integrity risks by collaborating with various stakeholders. You will integrate your engineering expertise, operational insights, and risk-based decision making to effectively treat emerging integrity threats, advance the Facility Integrity program, and prioritize long-term investments for our Facility assets.

What You Will Do:

  • Analyze asset details, operating condition, and historical inspection data to identify facility integrity risks.

  • Review integrity risk model outputs and asset health information to challenge assumptions, refine risk rankings, and focus investments on the most impactful risk mitigation opportunities.

  • Develop and prioritize integrity activities ranging from inspections and repairs to asset replacement and decommissioning, ensuring execution teams are equipped to deliver safe and reliable outcomes.

  • Analyze inspection results to develop risk-informed integrity strategies, optimize long-range planning, and improve accuracy of risk model.

  • Build strong relationships with Regional Operations to capture field observations, operational insights, and integrating innovative solutions into our integrity investment strategies.

  • Champion Enbridge’s Values of Safety, Integrity, Respect, Inclusion, and High Performance while fostering engagement, collaboration, and innovative solutions that advance team and business objectives.

Who You Are:

  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering, Mechanical or Materials would be considered an asset.

  • Registered member with APEGA as P. Eng. in the Province of Alberta.

  • Six (6) years of experience. Experience related to Pipeline, Oil & Gas, and/or Petrochemical experience, past Integrity experience would be considered an asset.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

  • Self motivated, growth mindset, and thrives in a dynamic changing environment with shifting priorities.

  • Ability to meet deadlines and deliver reliable data-driven deliverables.

  • Ability to learn the Regulatory Compliance drivers that influence the requirements for a Facility Integrity Program.

  • Analytical thinker, willing to take the lead to identify and influence innovative solutions.
     

Working Conditions:

  • Office environment.

  • Occasional travel (<10%) required for planning and overseeing of integrity activities (this includes travel to U.S.). Valid passport is required.
