About the Role

Ensign Energy is looking for HSE Advisors to support health, safety, and environmental compliance across drilling operations in Western Canada. This role involves field audits, safety program implementation, and incident investigation.

Responsibilities

Conduct field safety audits and inspections on active drilling rigs
Support incident and near-miss investigations and develop corrective actions
Deliver safety orientations, toolbox talks, and training programs
Monitor compliance with OHS legislation, company policies, and client requirements
Track and report leading and lagging safety indicators
Support emergency response planning and drills

Requirements

NCSO, CRSP, or equivalent safety designation
Minimum 3 years HSE experience in oil and gas or drilling operations
Strong knowledge of Alberta OHS Act and Regulations
Excellent communication, report writing, and presentation skills
Valid H2S Alive, First Aid, and CSTS certifications
Willingness to travel to field locations on a regular basis
