Manager, Reliability Project Implementation
About this opportunity:
The Manager, Reliability Project Implementation leads a team responsible for ensuring reliability strategies, project requirements, and Management of Change (MOC) deliverables are translated into complete, accurate, and operationally ready SAP maintenance data. The role's primary deliverables are SAP readiness for projects and MOCs, successful project turnover and operational handover, and effective coordination across Reliability Engineering, Projects, Maintenance, Operations, and Supply Chain. Success in this role requires strong leadership, SAP and maintenance management expertise, project execution skills, and the ability to influence and align stakeholders across multiple functions.
What you’ll do:
- Establish and maintain appropriate collaboration with Reliability Engineering, Projects, Maintenance, Operations and Supply Chain, working within their established processes and governance rather than developing our own.
- Establish and collaborate to maintain criteria for documentation handover from projects to the Reliability Project Implementation team.
- Establish and maintain clear completion criteria and quality checks to confirm SAP master data, maintenance plans, approvals and handover documents are complete, accurate and ready for use.
- Navigate LTCHO and OSO governance requirements, influencing consistency where possible and applying site-specific differences where required.
- Define intake criteria and manage prioritization, assignment and delivery of Major Project and MOC-driven SAP readiness work.
- Track project status, risks, data gaps, blockers, milestones and outcomes. Communicate progress to stakeholders and escalate issues as required.
- Build stakeholder alignment for project execution through proactive communication, cross functional collaboration and clear reporting of progress, challenges and successes.
- Align SAP readiness deliverables with project milestones, commissioning, startup and operational handover requirements.
- Lead, mentor and develop the Reliability Project Implementation team.
Who you are:
Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum requirements:
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
- Journeyman Red Seal or Technologist in relevant field.
- Minimum 12 years of experience in maintenance, reliability, project implementation, asset management, operations, or related industrial environments.
- Strong knowledge of SAP master data, equipment hierarchies, BOMs, maintenance plans, reliability and maintenance practices, Management of Change processes, and cross-functional project execution.
- Experience leading teams responsible for SAP readiness, maintenance data implementation, project turnover, commissioning, startup support, and operational handover across Reliability Engineering, Projects, Maintenance, Operations, and Supply Chain.
We acknowledge the value of transferrable skills and may consider equivalent combinations of experience and education should you not meet a specific requirement.
