Senior Compensation Analyst

The Compensation Analyst supports the Total Rewards strategy by analyzing and designing compensation programs that are competitive, equitable and aligned with the organization’s objectives. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, with a focus on leveraging data to generate insights, inform decision-making, and enhance the compensation strategy.
Analyze compensation data to identify trends and market competitiveness; develop clear summaries, charts, and insights for HR and business leadership
Provide compensation design and analysis by working with large datasets to formulate recommendations for compensation program improvements
Analyze compensation trends and provide actionable insights to Total Reward leadership and business partners
Conduct in-depth compensation analyses, including market pricing, internal equity reviews, pay equity analysis, pay gap analysis and workforce cost modeling
Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports to support compensation planning and strategic decision-making
Validate external salary surveys results, analyzing outputs to obtain market‑competitive compensation benchmarking information.
Identify and recommend process improvement opportunities while developing and maintaining documentation to ensure consistent, accurate, and repeatable compensation processes
Assist Compensation Analyst in administering company’s compensation programs, including annual salary increases, and quarterly and annual bonus incentives
Provide compensation analysis on ad-hoc requests and special projects to support Total Rewards initiatives
Partner with HRIS to ensure accuracy and integrity of compensation data across systems
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business, Statistics or a related field
Experience:
3 to 7 years’ experience in compensation, finance, or analytics
Advanced proficiency in Excel (e.g., modeling, pivot tables, Power Query); experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) preferred
Experience working with large datasets and translating data into meaningful insights
Skills:
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with high attention to detail
Ability to synthesize complex data into clear, concise recommendations
Business acumen and ability to connect compensation insights to organizational strategy
Effective communication skills, including the ability to explain data and compensation concepts to non-technical audiences
Strong problem-solving skills and intellectual curiosity
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
