A remote oil and gas site needs control data even when power, distance, and poor communications make access difficult. SCADALink, operated by Bentek Systems Ltd, works from Calgary on wireless SCADA, communication equipment and systems, and automation control systems for field monitoring and control. We troubleshoot SCADA communications across hosts, PLCs, RTUs, EFM units, and data loggers. That field experience helps when a wellsite, water site, or remote facility is losing signal, missing I/O, or failing to report alarms. Our hardware range includes wireless RTUs, radios, remote I/O, alarm callout systems, and SCADA hosting. The SCADALink A-485 adds I/O to RTU, flow computer, and PLC systems, or connects industrial I/O to cellular, satellite, or radio modem equipment through RS485. More than 20 years of industrial remote monitoring and control work sits behind our Calgary team. We plan SCADA communication and automation upgrades around the site equipment already in place, from Modbus devices to rugged USB-to-RS232 and RS485 field connections.
