Remote equipment can fail early when the battery pack is wrong for the load, temperature, or transit requirement. Excell Battery Co designs and manufactures custom battery solutions from Calgary for industrial devices, outdoor surveillance equipment, and downhole drilling applications.

We work with OEMs that need battery packs built around size, runtime, safety circuits, and field conditions. Rechargeable packs can include SBS compliant safety circuits and battery monitoring systems when the application needs managed power.

Downhole drilling creates a different power problem than handheld or motive equipment. Our design process accounts for operational, regulatory, and environmental requirements so the battery pack fits the device and the field limit.

Excell Battery has more than 30 years of custom battery design history. The Calgary team is part of a critical power group with multiple global centers, while our work here centers on battery design and manufacturing for industrial and specialized equipment.

Custom pack planning can include duty cycle, charging method, and UN 38.3 transit requirements when shipment rules affect the final design.
