Our Direct Contact Steam Generation technology co-injects steam or hot water with flue gas. In heavy-oil service, that adds reservoir heat, pressure, and CO2 while reducing greenhouse-gas release to the atmosphere.

The technology was founded in Calgary in 2014 under General Energy Recovery Inc. and is now focused on heavy oil. The same high-pressure steam and flue gas platform can also serve other industrial uses where portable thermal energy is needed.
