Pipeline capacity has to match daily energy demand, product type, and terminal access. Kinder Morgan operates from Houston with Pipeline and Transportation infrastructure across North America for natural gas, petroleum products, CO2, and other energy products.

We own an interest in or operate about 78,000 miles of pipeline. Our petroleum products pipeline system transports about 2.4 million barrels per day in the United States, and our natural gas network is tied to roughly 40 percent of U.S. natural gas production.

Storage is part of the same midstream job. Our 136 terminals store and handle renewable fuels, petroleum products, chemicals, vegetable oils, and other products.

We move and store energy in a safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible manner. For Houston-based midstream work, our core availability is pipeline transportation and terminal storage across the North American energy system.
