Heavy pipe and welded vessels need controlled heat before coating or inspection. R&R Stress Relieving Service Ltd handles metal heat treating from Nisku, Alberta, with shop furnaces and mobile field work across Western Canada.

Since 1982, we have planned each job around schedule, budget, and site access. Our furnace division runs 11 gas-fired furnaces at our Nisku head office and five more at Blackfalds for shop-based work.

When a vessel or pipe string cannot move easily, our gas division performs internal gas fire at customer sites. Mobile units and gas trains support the setup. We use insulation and burners to shape the heat. Vaporizers support the field setup when the asset size or location calls for it.

We work around fabrication shops and pipeline projects. Some need stress relief before inspection. Others need it before coating, transport, or installation.
