Shell Peace River

Shell Peace River operates in-situ thermal oil sands extraction in northern Alberta. Using steam-assisted gravity drainage (SAGD) and cyclic steam stimulation technologies, the Peace River operation produces bitumen from deep oil sands deposits without surface mining.
