Trans Mountain Corporation

Trans Mountain Corporation is a federal Crown corporation, wholly owned by the Government of Canada through the Canada Development Investment Corporation (CDEV). It owns and operates the Trans Mountain pipeline system, which carries crude oil and refined products roughly 1,150 kilometres from Edmonton, Alberta to Burnaby, British Columbia, with a delivery line to Washington State. It is the only crude oil pipeline connecting the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin to tidewater on the Pacific coast. The Trans Mountain Expansion Project, completed in May 2024, nearly tripled the system's capacity to about 890,000 barrels per day. The company is headquartered in Calgary, Alberta, and is led by President and Chief Executive Officer Mark Maki.
